PM Group is looking for a Procurement Manager to join a global biopharmaceutical client in Surrey.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with project planners, estimators and engineers to forecast procurement needs (procurement plan)
* Manage tendering process including preparation, bid evaluation, clarification and selection
* Negotiate terms and conditions including delivery timelines, warranties, penalties and payment terms
* Monitor contract and supplier performance against contractual obligations
* Track commitments, variations and invoices to control costs along with Linesight cost controllers
* Maintain complete records of procurement activities, contracts and communications
* Identify procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies
* Manage procurement related changes and claims in co-ordination with project control teams

* Vendor scope change
* Contract risk mapping/opportunity mapping
* Cost avoidance - savings expert
Requirements
* Previous level of experience in a Procurement Manager or Lead role
* Knowledge of supplier contracts, suppliers relationship and contracting communities
* Ability to negotiate
* Ideally have worked in the Pharmaceutical industry or similar
