Service Engineer

Up to £56,000 + Overtime
SF Engineering are recruiting for a Service Engineer to join our established engineering client based in Newark.
Purpose of the role:
Working under the direction of the Depot Supervisor, the Service Engineer will have experience of maintaining, fault finding and repairing of the Hydraulic and Electrical Systems of plant machinery and their corresponding drawings.
They will be able to work on large and small piling rigs and develop their knowledge of the following disciplines are essential, drilling & grouting, anchors, SFA, and soil nailing, fault finding and repairing all types of plant. The post holder will be working lone as well as part of a team.
Day to day the role will be based at our Newark HQ, but with travel out to various sites across the UK as and when required.
Service Engineer Main Duties:
1. Reporting directly to the Depot Supervisor or their nominee, to set the highest possible professional standards at all times, specifically in regard to safety, quality and productivity.

4. Completion of pre-hire inspection sheets and distributing out with the relevant machine
