To be successful in this role, you’ll have previous experience leading a team in a dynamic retail or hospitality environment. You’ll champion our mission and values to create a memorable Starbucks experience for our customers and partners. You’ll understand your market, know the competition, and identify opportunities to drive store profitability and your business forward. You’ll be an ambassador for our partner networks, ensuring our partners feel they belong.
The best part about this role is that no two days are ever the same! As a store leader, working in one of our dynamic stores, you’ll set the example and lead from the front on shift. A typical day could include:
* Executing store operations through your team, on your scheduled shifts and your days off, ensuring coverage for opening, closing, and weekends by yourself and your partners
* Analyzing data and leveraging in-store observations to inform decisions that improve customer experience and store performance
* Collaborating with your store leaders to use forecasting and scheduling tools to manage labor within budget, as well as recruiting diverse, talented partners that meet store needs
* Cascading and implementing new initiatives to enable operational excellence and drive business results
* Supporting partner growth through performance management, coaching, and relationship building to understand their challenges, needs, and aspirations
* Setting challenging yet achievable goals to boost engagement and partner performance
Given the nature of our stores, working hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
