Job Description
We are seeking a number of experienced Technical Leads with different software backgrounds (pro and low code) to join our UK Digital & Cloud Practice. Our Digital Practice is expanding rapidly and there will be an opportunity for you to achieve medium and long-term career goals. As well as fantastic growth opportunities there is the opportunity to work on some challenging and interesting, large scale transformational and migration projects within both public and private sector.
1. Technical leadership within a team to coordinate and deliver scalable, secure solutions in line with good industry software engineering practices (code quality, CI/CD, security etc).
2. Experience in technical ownership for a product or software solution, covering design, estimation, shaping and user story/requirement creation
3. Collaborate and liaise with other Version 1 and customer stakeholders/ end users in the software development lifecycle – PMs, BAs, Testing, Product etc
4. Able to communicate technical designs simply and clearly in conversation, documentation, and presentations to stakeholders of various technical abilities.
5. Fostering a positive working environment and facilitating team collaboration and communication. Including knowledge transfer and coaching to team members and the wider community.

Qualifications
6. Being eligible for Security Clearance in the UK
7. Deep understanding of coding best practices and modern architectural patterns, including microservices and message-driven architectures, non-functional requirements, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and API designing and integration.
8. Hands-on developing / coding role using one or more of Java or C# or .NET or Python plus one or more of the following: Frontend experience (JavaScript/TypeScript or Angular or React or Node) Backend (Java/Spring Boot/Hibernate or C#/.NET/.NET Core) Cloud Native Apps (AWS or Azure)Low Code Apps (D365, Power Platform including Power Apps Model Driven and Canvas Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power Virtual Agents).
9. Experience designing applications in Digital services and providing pre-sales and teams-based estimations and sizing.
10. Desirable: Experience of GOV.UK guidance, Service Standard and Technology Code of Practice.
