Vocational Teacher at TieTalent – Wetheringsett Manor School, Suffolk
Location: Wetheringsett Manor, Suffolk, IP14 5QX
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum (not pro rata) | Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:15 – 15:45 | Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial: you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours) while receiving full-time pay. 4DWW is subject to probation and is not a contractual benefit.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality teaching and use of resources to improve standards of learning and achievement for all pupils in consultation with the Key Stage Lead and Deputy Head.
* Teach a variety of general subjects across the national curriculum to students aged 11–16.
* Cover mechanics or construction/DT lessons to support intervention timetables and small group sessions.
* Support the development of SEN provision within Wetheringsett Manor School; work with schools, parents, key agencies, and pupils to ensure successful inclusion, including those with SEMH.
* Develop learning styles, appropriate teaching approaches, behaviour management, and classroom strategies; align resources with whole-school policies and the needs of pupils with complex needs.
* Collaborate with the school’s therapy team and build a curriculum aligned to student needs.
Qualifications
* UK QTS or equivalent (preferable but not essential).
About the School
Wetheringsett Manor School is a new independent day SEMH school for up to 100 pupils aged 7–18. The campus is in Suffolk, East Anglia, opened to pupils in November 2020 and is set on 17 acres of parkland with several buildings on site.
