At our AP, we use sports and physical activity as a powerful tool to build confidence, teach essential life skills, improve well-being, and support academic re-engagement for students who have faced barriers to mainstream education. This 1:1 role is central to our personalised approach. Key Responsibilities: Planning and delivering bespoke 1:1 sports-based sessions, adapting activities to meet individual student needs and interests. Using practical sport as a vehicle to teach core subjects, build social skills, and improve emotional regulation. Developing and implementing personalised learning plans (PLPs) focused on both physical and academic progress. Building strong, positive, and trusting relationships with students, many of whom have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs or SEND.
