We are in search of a compassionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join a lovely primary school in Stalybridge. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to children with a range of SEN, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
* Work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
* Assist with the preparation of learning materials and the classroom environment.
* Encourage children’s independence, self-confidence, and social integration.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting.
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification.
* A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to working with children.
* Enhanced DBS check (GSL Education can support you with this)
