Occupational Therapist
Location
Hillingdon Granges – primarily Colne Grange, with occasional support to other sites within Hillingdon Granges.
Salary
Up to £53,200 FTE, DOE. + £5,000 Welcome Bonus (£2,500 after first month and £2,500 after probation).
Hours & Contract
37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 08:30 am–16:30 pm.
Permanent contract (term‑time only; flexibility around full‑time contract can be discussed).
Essential Criteria
* Recognised Occupational Therapy degree.
* Valid and up to date HCPC registration.
* Registered member of RCOT.
* Relevant experience providing OT services within an education setting (preferred).
* Experience supporting neurodivergent and/or socio‑emotional and mental health needs.
* Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and its application to support independence.
* Experience working within multi‑professional teams.
* Ability to work independently, flexibly and confidently.
* Clear, concise report‑writing skills.
* Full UK driving licence, access to own vehicle.
* Interest in sensory integration or sensory‑informed practice (training preferred).
Responsibilities
Provide bespoke Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils with developmental trauma, neurodivergence or SEMH needs.
Deliver services in line with the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working, within professional and governing body guidance.
Hold an OT caseload under the support of a clinical supervisor and site lead.
Contribute to staff training and consultation as required.
Maintain a person‑centred, empowering approach and uphold safeguarding standards.
