Senior Test Automation Engineer role at Tribal Group. We’re looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our Development team who maintain and deploy our SITS platform. The Team are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions to ensure software quality.

The Role
As Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our SITS platform for our customers.
Your responsibilities
* Collaborate with developers and testers to define the necessary testing levels during the testing phase.
* Develop, design, and maintain automated test scripts (including regression tests) to validate system functionality as outlined in product specifications.
* Contribute to the creation of user acceptance criteria.
* Identify practices within automated testing and processes to enhance quality and efficiency throughout the software testing cycle.
* Partner with developers and analysts to assess the impact of new features and defect fixes.
* Participate in beta testing with customers, offering training and advisory support.
* Gain a deep understanding of the product and real-world user personas to ensure the validity of testing.
* Deploy software builds to test environments.
* Advocate and implement approaches, test tools and methodologies to drive quality and efficiency within the software and testing lifecycle.
* Act as a mentor and coach to Junior Test Automation Engineers and Test Automation Engineers, driving expertise in the discipline of software testing and ensuring the appropriate level of tests are designed.
* Represent the team at significant team and project meetings.
Qualifications
* IT Related Qualification.
* Experience as a Test Automation Engineer.
Desirable
* Experience within the further education industry.
