Criminal Litigation Solicitor — Position Overview:
You will manage a varied caseload of criminal matters, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to clients at police stations, Magistrates’, and Crown Courts. This is an exciting opportunity to work on both sensitive and complex cases within a supportive, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities of the Criminal Litigation Solicitor:

* Represent clients at police stations, Magistrates’ and Crown Courts
\t
* Prepare and manage criminal defence cases from instruction through to trial
\t
* Advise clients on a broad range of criminal law matters, including serious crime
\t
* Liaise with counsel, experts, and witnesses throughout the case lifecycle
\t
* Manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision and autonomy
\t
* Contribute to business development and departmental growth
\t
* Maintain outstanding client care and uphold firm standards
Requirements of the Crime Litigation Solicitor:

* Qualified Solicitor with at least 1-2 years’ PQE in criminal defence or litigation
\t
* Strong advocacy and negotiation skills
\t
* Excellent written and verbal communication
\t
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\t
* Client-focused, professional, and proactive approach

* High level of integrity and discretion
