We are delighted to be working with a client in the Stokesley area, who are looking for someone with a background in insurance or financial services to join their team as an Insurance Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional and supportive office, where customer care, honesty, and integrity are at the heart of everything they do.
As an Insurance Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the success of the local branch. You’ll work closely with existing and new customers, ensuring their needs are met and delivering a first-class service.
Responsibilities:
1. Providing sales and service support to personal lines customers, converting quotes into new business
2. Managing customer policy reviews to help retain existing business
3. Processing customer instructions for policy amendments
4. Recording and managing leads using a CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics)
5. Identifying cross-selling opportunities and introducing customers to financial services where appropriate
6. Proactively seeking out new business opportunities
7. Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge
8. Undertaking additional administrative duties as required
About the candidate:
9. A positive, can-do attitude with a strong attention to detail
10. Great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload
11. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to adapt to in-house systems
13. Minimum of 5 GCSEs (grade C/4 or above), including Maths and English
14. (Desirable but not essential) Two A-Level passes or prior insurance experience, ideally with CII qualifications
