Carer/Personal Assistant required to work 20 hours per week at a rate of £12.55 per hour, including some weekends and one to two nights at a rate of £ Previous experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. You will be assisting a 36-year-old man with Cerebral Palsy who uses a power chair and lives independently in his flat.
He loves to live life on his terms. David is very family-orientated and spends a lot of time with his nephews and nieces. He attends church and has a great passion for music and especially enjoys electronic music; alongside this, he has a keen interest in reading, culture, and the media.
This job will include domestic duties, personal care, emotional support, social outings, admin, assistance with getting to and from the office (if David secures employment), support with small admin tasks, and help with getting lunch. The rate of pay is £12.55 per hour and £101.58 per sleeping night.
Note: We are unable to split the sleeps away from the rest of the working hours.
