Lead Engineer - ADAS – Tata Technologies
We are recruiting a Lead Engineer ADAS based at Fen End, UK to drive the future development of technologies, complex systems, methods and tools for the Vehicle Platform Accessories team.
Area of Responsibility
* Delivery of systems within Accessories across the range of vehicles
* Assist and contribute to the generation of targets and verification methods driven by Customer, Function Requirements and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
* Contribute to the delivery of the area onto all programmes, aligned with the Systems Engineering discipline outlined by Product Creation Systems
* Provide technical support and assistance across the operational team on integration and harmonisation of interconnected components, issue resolution, and objective data analysis
* Work with Technical Specialists and Research Engineering on Attribute and Function Forward Strategies, including new Function Definition and Failure Mode Avoidance
* Undertake any other work as directed by the line manager
Knowledge / Experience
* Relevant experience working in a Systems Engineering environment, ideally within the automotive sector
* Model-based engineering (MBE) and Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) expertise with SysML (IBM Rational Rhapsody)
* Experience in IBM Rational DOORS and implementing Systems Engineering to solve complex technical issues
* Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Track record as an effective team player with strong interpersonal skills
* Full driving licence and willingness to be involved with overseas testing (UK, Europe, Sweden, USA, UAE)
* Class 3 and 4PG driver training level (or equivalent) for internal processes
