Your Impact As a Debt Caseworker, you’ll play a vital role in helping clients regain control of their finances. You’ll lead on the delivery of specialist debt advice, with a focus on Debt Relief Orders (DROs), ensuring clients receive accurate, empathetic, and solution-focused support. Your work will directly improve lives—and potentially change them. What We’re Looking For Experience At least 12 months' experience delivering debt advice. Hands-on experience with DRO applications. Either currently an Approved DRO Intermediary or able to qualify within 3 months. Skills & Qualities Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. A structured, meticulous approach to casework and procedures. Strong IT skills, including digital record-keeping. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Resilience, empathy, and a client-centred approach. Committed to equal opportunities and reflective practice. Knowledge Solid understanding of debt solutions and relevant legislation. Awareness of social trends affecting clients and services. Willingness to obtain a NACAB General Help Certificate (or equivalent) within 3 months—training provided.
