Join Our Team as a Cleaner at Bay6
We're looking for a committed, friendly, and enthusiastic Cleaner to join our fantastic team at Bay6. Your role will help us maintain the warm, welcoming environment that supports the incredible work we do with young people.
About the Role
1. Hours: 12 per week (flexible), ideally split over 3 daytime shifts.
2. Location: Bay6 Project, Leyland, Lancashire.
3. Salary: £24,242 - £25,992 FTE (£7,862.27 - £8,429.84) pro rata
About Bay6
Bay6 provides supported accommodation for young people aged 16–24 across three buildings in Leyland. Our goal is to help residents develop the skills and confidence needed for independent living. Many of our young people are leaving care or have experienced homelessness. With 24-hour staffing and up to two years of support, we ensure a safe and structured transition to independent housing.

We have 17 young people living with us across 3 buildings:
4. Bay6: 6 bedrooms, communal spaces, offices
5. Haddon Lodge: 5 one-bedroom flats
6. Belgrave Court: 6 one-bedroom flats
Key Responsibilities:
7. Clean all areas, including communal spaces, toilets, bedrooms, and flats
8. Maintain hygiene standards and report health & safety concerns
9. Prepare rooms and flats for new residents
10. Keep outdoor areas tidy
11. Manage cleaning supplies and inventory
12. Support young people with cleaning routines
13. Understand safeguarding and report concerns
14. Complete required training and use IT systems
