Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RE ECT to join our school in Redbridge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3-4, and potentially 5, preparing students for GCSE examinations, and fostering a stimulating learning environment that promotes critical thinking and respect for diverse perspectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality RE lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially 5).
* Prepare students for GCSE examinations.
* Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
* Utilize various teaching methods, including research and presentations.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of the RE curriculum.
* Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject.
* Strong subject knowledge and understanding of diverse religious and philosophical perspectives.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for fostering critical thinking and respect for different viewpoints.
