Location: Stevenage
Salary: GBP 30,000
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Account Manager About our client:
Our client is a well:established and growing business looking to recruit a proactive and commercially minded Account Manager to join their collaborative team in Stevenage. This role will focus on delivering exceptional customer service, supporting sales growth, and building long:term client relationships within a fast:paced environment.

Account Manager Details:
. Hybrid working 2 days from home
. Monday Thursday 9am 5pm Friday 9am 4pm

Account Manager Responsibilities:
. Deliver exceptional customer service and manage a broad customer portfolio
. Build strong relationships with customers and provide ongoing account support
. Manage customer queries, quotations, orders, and complaints through to resolution
. Work closely with external sales teams to provide a seamless customer experience
. Monitor customer orders, stock levels, and delivery schedules to ensure continuity of supply
. Communicate proactively with customers regarding updates, delays, or supply issues
. Support onboarding and implementation of new business accounts
. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross:selling products and services
. Support sales growth through outbound calls and account development activities
. Attend customer meetings independently or alongside external sales colleagues
. Analyse account margins and identify opportunities to improve profitability
. Maintain accurate customer records, reporting, and internal systems
. Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met

Account Manager What We re Looking For:
. Previous experience within customer service, account management, or sales support
. Strong communication skills both written and verbal
. Commercially aware with a proactive and growth:focused mindset
. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
. Ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally
. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast:paced environment
. Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office packages
. Self:motivated, adaptable, and team:oriented approach
. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high levels of accuracy
