An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join our Leadership Team on a maternity cover basis, based at Nelson Town Hall. This is a key role at the strategic heart of the organisation, providing direct executive and programme co-ordination support to the Chief Executive and Directors. You will be working in an extremely high-profile and busy environment, with daily contact with Senior Officers, Elected Members, national agencies, external partners and members of the public. The role involves co-ordinating meetings and forward work programmes, managing diaries, preparing agendas and papers, tracking actions, supporting events, and helping ensure the smooth running of leadership activity across the Council. Pendle is in Lancashire’s scenic Pennines, close to the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District, and Manchester.
