Our Client is currently seeking an skilled Electrical Engineer working within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, playing a key role in ensuring maximum equipment reliability, safety, and performance across the site. This is a hands-on position operating on a continental shift pattern, supporting production through both planned and reactive maintenance. Key Responsibilities * Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and repair on electrical and control systems * Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, and automation equipment * Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules * Respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency * Ensure all work complies with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards * Assist with continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades * Work closely with production and other engineering teams About You * Qualified Electrical Engineer (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) * Previous experience in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment preferred * Strong electrical fault-finding skills (single & three-phase systems) * Experience with PLCs (Siemens / Allen Bradley desirable) * Comfortable working continental shifts, including nights and weekends * Proactive, team-focused, and safety-conscious The Best Connection is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
