Mobile Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer Uxbridge Monday to Friday (no shifts, no weekends) About the Role We are looking for an experienced Mobile Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join the team of a growing Facilities Management company. The role will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites. This is a Monday-to-Friday role with no shift work, ideal for an engineer seeking a stable work-life balance. While the role is electrically biased, the successful candidate must be willing and able to carry out non-electrical maintenance tasks as part of a multi-skilled maintenance function. Key Responsibilities * Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on commercial building services * Undertake general building and fabric maintenance tasks as required * Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works * Work on lighting systems, power distribution, emergency lighting, and basic controls * Carry out minor mechanical and non-electrical works (e.g. basic plumbing, fabric repairs) * Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety and statutory compliance * Accurately complete job reports and documentation * Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts Essential Requirements * Recognised electrical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations * Proven experience in commercial building maintenance * Electrically biased but flexible and willing to work on non-electrical tasks * Ability to work independently in a mobile role * Full UK driving licence Desirable * Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent) * Experience in facilities management or multi-site environments * Basic mechanical or building services knowledge What We Offer * Monday to Friday working pattern – no shifts * Company vehicle, tools, and uniform provided * Stable workload across commercial sites * Opportunities for training and progression
