A leading international law firm is looking to hire a Senior Associate to join its Legal 500 London Corporate team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Associates looking for the step up, or for established Senior Associates looking for exposure to big ticket cross border deals.
The Role
The successful candidate will work on a wide range of corporate matters, including:
* Domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions
* Private equity and investment work
* Venture Capital
* Joint ventures and corporate governance
* General corporate advisory work for a diverse client base
You will work closely with partners on large cross border deals and corporate matters, as well as having some responsibility to supervise juniors and trainees. The role offers a strong balance of high-quality work, career progression and a collegiate team culture.
The Candidate
* At least 8 years post-qualification experience in Corporate law
* Strong experience across M&A and general corporate matters
* Experience working on private equity deals
* Experience working in a reputable City, international or national firm
* Experience drafting and negotiating SPAs, articles of association, shareholder agreements, due diligence, and all ancillary documents.
* Commercially minded with excellent drafting and communication skills
* Keen to take on responsibility and contribute to the growth of a busy practice
