As part of our continued growth, we're on the lookout for a Weddings & Events Assistant to join our team. You'll be the main point of contact for couples throughout their wedding journey, from initial enquiry and planning, through to the big day itself.
No two days are the same You could be working mornings, afternoons, evenings - any day of the week. If you like variety and don't mind a schedule that keeps you on your toes, this role is for you.
Key responsibilities:
* Work with the Weddings team to plan, coordinate and deliver various events.
* Complete show-arounds of Knightor (and other venues when required), selling to the customer at all times and follow targets for wedding bookings
* Help to plan and attend wedding fairs, open days and events both onsite and off
* Assist with the marketing of the venue, weddings and events on social media channels and online
* Assist with the lead running of front of house and catering teams, including event setup, service, and takedown.
What we're looking for:
* Excellent communication and people skills – friendly, approachable, and professional.
* Strong hospitality experience is a must, and previous experience in Events/Weddings is highly desirable.
* Calm under pressure and able to think quickly when challenges arise.
* Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and long days during peak wedding season.
* A flexible team player with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences.
* Exceptionally organised with great attention to detail.
