Graduate Water Quality Consultant
Location: Oxfordshire
Contract: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract (35 hours per week)
Working Hours: 07:00 to 15:00 and 13:00 to 21:00
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Description:
* Investigate water pollution incidents across the Thames Valley & Greater London area.
* Conduct field monitoring, including water quality measurements and sampling.
* Write technical reports in response to pollution incidents.
* Provide accurate and timely information to management.
* Share knowledge and best practices within the team.
* Perform any other duties relevant to the role.
About You:
* Degree in Biological or Environmental Sciences.
* Understanding of water chemistry and parameters.
* Full clean UK driving license.
* Experience in scientific fieldwork and outdoor work in all weather conditions.
* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and in a team following protocols.
* Motivated, friendly, and confident in client interactions.
* Understanding of regulators like the Environment Agency (desirable).
* Experience in laboratory analysis and environmental compliance (desirable).
