We are recruiting a Lead Building Services Engineer to join our established engineering team. This is a new role, created to strengthen and build capacity within a varied and fast-moving environment.
With an electrical bias, you will fulfil the full remit of a Building Services Engineer while providing additional support to the Engineering, Health & Safety Manager.
Key Responsibilities include
* Support and guide the team in maintaining the plant, equipment, and building fabric to a high standard
* Assist with planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, lighting, fire safety, and building management systems
* Supervise engineering activities on site, including contractors and the building services team
* Manage engineering rotas to ensure effective operational coverage
* Oversee temporary power installations in accordance with electrical and health and safety standards
* Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and safe systems of work
* Support projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
* Proven leadership experience
* Strong working knowledge of building management systems
* Electrical bias with relevant qualifications, including 18th Edition
* Organised, adaptable and confident in decision making
* Able to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively
* Flexible to work shifts, including weekends, in line with business needs
