Field-based role with regular travel throughout the Territory and occasional overnight stays. Occasional travel outside the Territory and mandatory attendance at National and Regional Business Meetings each year. These events provide training and preparation for product and/or campaign launches, involving overnight stays.
Responsibilities
1. Participate with the Regional Business Manager, Clinical Nurse Advisor, and Business Development Manager in developing and implementing local business plans to achieve high compliance with new Formulary Awards and drive market share growth.
2. Work closely with the Business Development Manager & Clinical Nurse Advisor within the Region to ensure all hospital and community Formularies are secured and fully compliant.
3. Achieve annual sales and market share targets for Focus Brands within the agreed budgets with the Regional Business Manager.
4. Meet agreed activity KPIs and objectives.
5. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Company’s products, policies, and objectives.
6. Provide customers with medical information about the Company’s products through effective presentation and listening skills.
7. Establish and maintain a strong link between the Company and its customers by identifying success factors and potential issues.
8. Enhance the Company's image and profile through knowledge of Sales, Marketing & Clinical strategies and the use of corporate selling tools.
9. Manage and develop the individual Sales territory by analyzing sales and marketing data.
10. Organize and manage customer meetings, study days, and exhibitions within the territory.
11. Participate in Regional and National Sales Meetings to share experiences and improve efficiency, including sharing best practices.
12. Develop personal skills by keeping product and Clinical knowledge up to date and identifying areas for further training.
13. Use the Salesforce CRM system effectively in accordance with KPIs and objectives.
14. Plan work schedules and timetables weekly and monthly to maximize business opportunities.
15. Nurture excellent working relationships with customers by selling innovative solutions. Call points include Tissue Viability, Dermatology, Continence & Stoma.
16. Build strong relationships across customer groups, identifying Industry Key Opinion Leaders and formulary influencers, key decision-makers.
17. Provide win-win solutions for both customers and the company.
18. Stay informed about the latest trends in marketing and sales and utilize them for the company's benefit.
Additional Notes
* Significant daily driving required.
* Frequent telephone and computer activity.
* Flexible working approach needed to meet business needs, including occasional evening work.
* Promote, sell, and ensure proper distribution of key products in both the Acute and Community settings.
* Achieve sales targets for the Territory using effective and ethical communication methods, adhering to corporate guidelines. Customers include TVNs, Procurement, Nursing Homes, Stoma Nurses, Incontinence Nurses, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, District Nurses, and Key Opinion Leaders.
* Collaborate within a matrix team, sharing information, ideas, and solutions for the benefit of the Regional and Company goals.
