CARE ASSISTANT (Scotland)
Join Cera as a Care Assistant in Cumbernauld. You'll be supporting us on our mission to transform social care and enable more people to live longer, healthier and happier lives in their own homes.

We're recruiting part-time and full-time care assistants to support our clients at home. We have work available in Cumbernauld, Moodiesburn and surrounding areas.
For this role you require a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work. We have a flexible approach for shifts including mornings, days, evenings and nights - you\'ll usually have every other weekend off for work-life balance.
Responsibilities
* Assist with personal care including continence support, washing and dressing.
* Manage medications, cook or prepare hot meals, and help with domestic tasks.
* Provide companionship, reassurance, and joy to those you care for.
Requirements
* Driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
* Right to work in the UK.
* PVG check (certificate will be required).
* Fully eligible for the role in Scotland; registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and annual renewal is required. You must work towards SVQ2; Cera will fund the SVQ, but an SVQ registration fee is payable by the employee.
* Role may involve intimate care; clients may request a carer of a specific sex in Scotland. This vacancy is restricted for women only.
