We’re Hiring: Security Officer

Pay: £13.10 per hour
Hours: 48 hours per week - Nightshift

Responsibilities
* Active patrols: Regularly patrol designated areas to detect and deter suspicious activity, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
* Thorough searches: Conduct detailed searches in line with company policies, maintaining restriction area safety.
* Record keeping: Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork for security incidents and observations.
* Effective communication: Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors and external authorities to report incidents and coordinate responses.
* Exceptional customer service: Provide professional and courteous service to employees, visitors and guests.

Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who values teamwork, shows initiative and wants to grow. Ideally you’ll have:
* A valid SIA licence.
* Ability to pass relevant background and vetting checks.
* Relevant security experience in a regulated environment.
* Customer service experience involving face‑to‑face interaction.
* Experience working with access control systems or security software (desirable).
* The right to work in the UK, with a five‑year checkable history.
* Strong communication skills in English – both written and spoken.
