Main duties of the job
To provide personal medical care to patients of the Practice, working as part of the Practice team.
The scope of the role includes the full range of patient related and clinical activity of the Primary Care Team, within all of the practice locations and patients homes and all administration associated with patient care.
There are options to develop a special interest, such as minor surgery, womens health or other areas. Personal development is actively encouraged and supported.

We work as part of Wansbeck Primary Care Network with 4 other practice including Bedlingtonshire, Gables and Guidepost covering c. 47,000. The Network has a variety of Additional Roles including Community Link Workers, Mental Health Practitioners, First Contact Physios, Health & Well Being Coaches, Dietician and Pharmacists.

* GMC Registered.

* A good understanding of GMS contract requirements and operation of QOF and Enhanced Services.
* Ability to effectively manage pressures of a busy and varied clinical workload.
* Ability to contribute effectively to team meetings.

* SystmOne competence.
