Are the ‘face of IBIS Shoreditch’, extending a warm welcome to our guests during their stay, putting their well-being at the heart of everything you do, while adding your personal touch to their stay.
Contract - Full Time, Permanent, 39 hours / Week.
* In charge of all Food & Beverage operations including restaurant, bar and kitchen.
* Lead Food & Beverage Team & Kitchen Team to provide excellent service.
* Ensure effective cost control and maximise profitability for the Food & Beverage & Kitchen Teams.
* Responsible for maintenance & health & safety across all Food & Beverage outlets.
* Ensure compliance with licensing laws, hotel policies and health & safety requirements.
* Liaise closely with other teams internally to ensure smooth operations.
* Produce and analyse financial reports daily, monthly and as and when required.
* Implement Accor Vision, Values and emergency communication protocols.
* Undertake other reasonable duties as required by management.
* Perform Talent & Culture duties required for the department.
* Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings, maintaining confidentiality.
* Ensure Food & Beverage relevant brand standards are maintained.
* Coordinate with Reservations and Sales team regarding banquet revenue.
* Consistently offer professional, engaging and proactive guest service
* Work with the Management to meet and exceed budgeted hotel targets
* Able to think strategically and maximize our hotel’s potential.
You must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position and be in possession of a current work visa. Qualifications
What we are looking for:
• At least one year experience working in Hotel Departmental Management role
• College degree in a related discipline
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good command of English
• Ability to work as a Head of Department and cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
