We’re hiring a Commercial Development Manager with sharp commercial instincts and contract expertise to support a growing maritime business delivering complex services to the commercial shipping and transport sectors.
This is a hybrid leadership role for someone who thrives in a Sales & Bid heavy environment and knows how to translate terms, risks, and commercial frameworks into real-world outcomes.
The Role:
• Lead bids, commercial strategy, and contractual negotiations
• Manage customer contracts, Ts & Cs, and framework agreements
• Provide commercial oversight on new and existing marine projects
• Interface with technical, operational, and legal teams to manage risk and ensure compliance
• Develop pricing models and commercial terms for high-value proposals
• Work across the Commercial Shipping, Marine Survey, and Transportation sectors
You’ll Bring:
• Strong background in bids
• Marine, defence, shipping, or engineering services experience preferred
• Excellent stakeholder skills — both internal and client-facing
• Detail-focused with a clear grasp of risk, margin, and commercial exposure
• Able to balance commercial acumen with pragmatic delivery
