Graduate Opportunity – Paid Classroom Experience (No Teaching Qualification Required)

We work with secondary schools across Hastings who are looking for bright, capable graduates to support in their Schools.
What you’ll be doing:
* Gaining hands-on classroom experience from day one
* Supporting qualified teachers
* Working with students in your subject area (Maths, Science, English, Humanities)

What could this lead to?
If you decide to move into teaching, the progression is clear and financially competitive:
* Starting salary (qualified teacher): from £32,916
* After ~5 years: typically £45,000+
* Experienced teachers: up to £51,000
* Leadership roles: £50,000–£80,000
Salaries increase annually as you gain experience, and many teachers also receive additional payments for extra responsibilities.
You may also be eligible for:
* Government-funded teacher training routes
* Bursaries in shortage subjects (e.g. Maths, Physics, Chemistry)
* A secure and generous pension through the Teachers’ Pension Scheme
You don’t need:
* A teaching qualification
* Previous classroom experience
You do need:
* A degree (or predicted) in a relevant subject
* Strong communication skills
* Confidence, resilience, and willingness to learn
