Overview
Trainee Fire Extinguisher Technician - North West. Join Marlowe Fire & Security as a Trainee and build a career in fire safety. You will develop hands-on skills in fire extinguisher maintenance, inspection, and testing with industry-leading training during your first six months.
Responsibilities
* The primary objective is to develop the skills and knowledge to become a fully qualified Fire Extinguisher Technician
* Work alongside experienced Fire Extinguisher Technicians, gaining hands-on experience
* Develop and maintain professional relationships with a diverse client base
* Communicate clearly with customers about the status and condition of their fire safety equipment
* Collaborate with Service Administrators to meet customer requirements
* Manage, care for, and secure vehicle stock, tools, and equipment
* Demonstrate a positive attitude toward training and development
* Flexibility to travel and stay overnight during peak periods and throughout the training programme
Requirements
Essential Professional Experience
* Possession of a full UK driving licence.
* Willingness and flexibility to travel as required for work and training purposes.
Desirable Professional Experience
* Previous experience working with mechanical fire protection systems (e.g., sprinklers, suppression systems).
* Technical background within the mechanical fire safety industry.
* Experience in a customer-facing role, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
