Position Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a AHCS registered respiratory physiologist to join our friendly team of respiratory physiologists at the respiratory lab at Liverpool University Hospitals (Aintree Site). This post may also be suitable for aspiring respiratory physiologists looking at moving upwards from an associate practitioner role, in which case the salary will be set at Annex 21 of band 6. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing full studies, challenge testing, field exercise testing and respiratory muscle function studies. The successful applicant will assist the lab manager and other staff in routine running and administration of the respiratory function laboratory. Full training can also be given in many other areas of respiratory physiology and you would be expected to develop yourself for the good of the team and your future career. The post holder would also be expected to provide cover and support to pre‑op exercise testing. Candidates should have or be working towards AHCS registration.

* Challenge Testing (both Direct and Indirect)
* Supervision of other physiology staff
