Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
* Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted assistance.
* Help manage classroom behaviour to create a safe and positive learning environment.
* Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
* Support students with special educational needs, ensuring they are included in all activities.
* Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
To be a successful Teaching Assistant, you should:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential.
* A positive and patient attitude with a passion for working with children.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work well in a team and adapt to different classroom settings.
* A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
