Offer description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Finance Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day administrative and financial tasks. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in finance and accounting within a supportive and professional environment.


Responsibilities:

1. Assist with data entry and maintaining financial records
2. Process invoices and expense claims
3. Support accounts payable and receivable functions
4. Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
5. Help prepare financial reports and spreadsheets
6. Maintain filing systems for financial documents
7. Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries
8. Perform other administrative duties as required


Requirements:

* Basic understanding of finance or accounting principles
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Previous experience in a finance or administrative role is a plus but not essential


Desirable Qualifications:

* At least a year's experience in a Finance Assistant role
* Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
