RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales and Commercial Success
Act as the primary brand representative within designated retail locations, delivering exceptional service and increasing product awareness amongst customers.
Apply thorough product knowledge and market understanding to meet and exceed sales targets within your assigned region.
Regularly assess sales performance, identify customer preferences, and adapt sales approaches to maximise results.
Ensure consistent stock availability by monitoring inventory and addressing replenishment needs in a timely manner.
Work closely with the Account Management team to support strategic sales objectives and promotional activities.
Staff Development and Product Training
Conduct in-store training sessions for retail teams, ensuring product knowledge, brand values, and sales techniques are well understood.
Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring during store visits, enhancing staff confidence in engaging with customers and recommending products.
Observe and evaluate in-store sales practices, offering tailored feedback to optimise individual and team performance.
Foster an environment where retail teams feel motivated to recommend and upsell products based on customer needs.
Collaborate with internal education teams to tailor training content that aligns with retailer requirements and market trends.
Relationship Management and Brand Advocacy
Build and maintain effective relationships with store management and retail staff to strengthen brand presence and foster collaboration.
Support in-store events and promotional campaigns, contributing to enhanced visibility and customer engagement.
Work with retail partners to identify opportunities for events, campaigns, and special activations to drive traffic and sales.
Actively represent the brand at events and initiatives, ensuring a consistently high standard of presentation and professionalism.
Travel and Work Pattern
The role is field-based, full-time, and includes weekend working as part of a five-day working week.
Travel across Greater London is required, with occasional travel to other parts of the UK, supported by travel expense reimbursement.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Prior experience in a retail or field sales role, within the beauty, cosmetics, or haircare sector.
Previous experience working within premium department stores or beauty retailers, such as Selfridges, Sephora, John Lewis, or Harrods, is highly advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence both customers and store teams.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively across multiple retail locations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
A proactive approach with a solution-focused mindset and the ability to work independently.
Confident, personable, and professional with a genuine enthusiasm for beauty and haircare products.
Results-driven with a commitment to achieving and surpassing sales targets.
Adaptable and flexible with a willingness to travel and work weekends as required.
