Job Description
As Facilities Manager, you will take full ownership of service delivery across your allocated regional sites.
Managing both hard and soft FM services, you will ensure performance, compliance, and value for money while maintaining strong client relationships within a complex and highly regulated environment.
You will act as the key interface between the client and operational teams, ensuring we consistently demonstrate high standards, transparency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee hard and soft FM service delivery across multiple sites.
2. Manage client relationships and proactively resolve service issues.
3. Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements and SFG20 maintenance standards.
4. Manage site-based teams, including supervisors, engineers, and cleaners (where applicable).
5. Oversee subcontractor performance, compliance, and service quality.
6. Ensure accurate reporting and CAFM system (Maximo) updates.
7. Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics.
8. Ensure all health and safety standards are met, including safe systems of work.
9. Maintain full ownership of operational performance across your portfolio.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
10. Proven experience in a Facilities Management role.
11. Strong understanding of both hard and soft FM services.
12. Experience managing client expectations in a complex contract environment.
13. Previous people management/line management experience.
14. IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
15. Good understanding of statutory compliance requirements.
16. Working towards a Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Facilities Management.
