Laboratory Assistant
CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Assistant, to join a global Consumer Healthcare company who are based in Newcastle, on a contract basis for 3 months initially.

Role:
1. Weighing product and making solutions.
2. Preparation and testing of formulations, including preparation of products for consumer tests.
3. Physical and chemical analysis of formulations/products.
4. Summarizing, reporting and communicating data findings and results, using Microsoft Excel/Powerpoint/Word.
5. Performing large or small scale performance tests following defined test methods.
6. General housekeeping and ensuring labs are kept appropriately according to operating procedures.
7. Running mechanical equipment and computer activated test methods.
Your Background:
8. Educated to ideally BSc level in a life sciences field.
9. Laboratory experience in a similar role in industry.
10. Experience with a range of laboratory testing and analytical techniques.
11. Experience of working with products in the consumer healthcare industry.
