Job Description
As a Financial Mis-selling Solicitor/Team Leader your duties will include:● Handling PCP/car finance commission mis-selling claims ● Managing client details and case files using our case management systems ● Progressing claims from initial instruction to final resolution, including FOS claims and litigated matters ● Drafting and submitting complaints to FCA-regulated firms, brokers, FOS, and issuing proceedings as needed ● Managing the full litigation process including drafting pleadings, track allocation, witness statements, disclosure, and trial preparation (bundling, briefing Counsel, etc.) ● Providing training and guidance to junior s
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Mis-selling Solicitor/Team Leader should have:Proven experience handling financial mis-selling compensation claims ● Sound understanding of civil litigation cases ● Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) or consumer credit/financial services law ● Demonstrated ability to manage caseloads effectively ● Reliable, efficient and organised in your approach to work ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills ● Professional and courteous at all times ● Strong time management and interpersonal skills ● Comfortable working independently and collaboratively ● Proficient in IT systems including Adobe, Word, and Excel Desirable (but not essential) ● Previous experience with group litigation or omnibus claims ● Familiarity with the latest developments in PCP/car finance commission claims and FCA regulations ● Experience mentoring and training junior legal staf
