Job Title: Employment Solicitor Location South Wales The Firm A well-established regional law firm is seeking to recruit an Employment Solicitor to join its growing practice. The firm has a strong reputation for providing clear, practical legal advice to both individuals and businesses and offers a supportive, collaborative working environment. The Role The successful candidate will manage a varied employment law caseload, advising both employer and employee clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters. The role offers a high level of client contact and the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the wider firm. Key Responsibilities Advising clients on all aspects of employment law, acting for both employers and employees Managing contentious and non-contentious matters including dismissals, grievances, disciplinary issues, redundancy, and discrimination Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, settlement agreements, staff handbooks, and workplace policies Representing clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings, including pre-claim advice and negotiations Advising on TUPE, restrictive covenants, family-related leave, absence management, and HR best practice Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment law developments and providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice Building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development where appropriate.
