Guest Service Agent Overview
The Guest Service Agent is a vital role within the hotel, often the first and last point of contact for guests. They significantly impact the guest experience by handling inquiries and resolving concerns efficiently. This role requires quick thinking, multitasking, and a positive attitude to ensure guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:
* Greeting and thanking guests sincerely and warmly
* Checking guests in and out
* Assigning rooms and managing administrative duties
* Answering phone calls
* Posting charges to guest accounts
* Completing daily checklists
* Communicating information within departments to enhance guest satisfaction
* Ensuring guest needs are met through effective communication
