Friday: 08:00 - 15:30
25 days annual leave (3 to be used over Christmas)

A well-established manufacturing business based in the Rochester area is looking for a Stores / Despatch Operator to join its operations team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a background in retail, warehousing, or despatch (e.g., Tesco, Argos, logistics environments), seeking stable, long-term employment in a Monday-to-Friday position.
Key Responsibilities
Stores:
· Manage incoming and existing stock
· Organise stores and label components clearly and efficiently
· Prepare kits and mechanical components for production
· Use Excel, Word, and email systems to record and manage stock data accurately
Despatch:
· Pack a variety of products for national and international shipment
· Monitor and plan stock levels of packing materials
· Complete despatch paperwork and digital records
· Ensure accuracy of shipment data
What We're Looking For
· Experience in a similar stores, warehouse, despatch or retail-based role
· Comfortable using Excel, Word, and email
· Accurate data recording and attention to detail
· Able to work independently and as part of a team
· Organised and proactive mindset
Desirable Background
· Previous experience in a retail or fast-moving environment such as supermarkets
· Familiarity with labelling, stock rotation, and manual handling practices
