Position Summary: As an ECT Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons to students in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. You will be supported by experienced staff who will help guide you through your induction period and provide professional development opportunities. Your Responsibilities as an Early Career Teacher (ECT)—Primary: Plan and teach lessons that follow the national curriculum. Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development. Use assessments to track progress and guide next steps in learning. Create a positive and inclusive classroom where all students feel valued. Work closely with teaching assistants, staff, and families to support pupil success. Take part in training, staff meetings, and wider school activities. Role Requirements: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Willingness to learn, reflect, and develop through CPD. Ability to adapt to different school settings and student needs. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare. Have an Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
