2. Support swimmers of all ages and abilities, adapting your approach to meet individual needs.
3. Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly and professionally with swimmers, parents, and visitors.

5. Maintain accurate attendance and progress records, ensuring timely and clear communication with families.
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support lesson setup, health and safety procedures, and smooth facility operation.
7. Uphold safeguarding practices and contribute to a secure environment where children and young people can thrive.

About you

8. A Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification (Swim England or STA equivalent).
9. A strong understanding of health and safety in a pool environment.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, motivate and support swimmers.
11. A positive, organised and learner‑centred approach.
12. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
13. Flexibility to work some evening and weekend shifts

It would also be great if you have:

14. A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or willingness to train in future.
15. Experience working in a school, leisure, or community sport setting.
