About the role:
Justteachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a welcoming and forward‑thinking secondary school in the Bradford area. This is a full‑time position starting after the Easter break and continuing until the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.
You will be teaching KS3 and KS4 English, delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to develop strong literacy skills, critical thinking, and a love of literature.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high‑quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Contribute to the wider English department and whole‑school initiatives
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement
Pre‑requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience teaching English up to GCSE level
- A valid enhanced DBS on the update service
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for English
- Two school based reference.
