Humanities Teacher - Supply (Full-Time / Part-Time)
Location: BradfordPay: Daily rate to scaleContract Type: Long-term supply (with potential ongoing opportunities)
About the Role
Academics are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teachers to work on a full-time or part-time supply basis in secondary schools across Bradford.
This role involves delivering high-quality Humanities lessons (such as History, Geography, and/or Religious Education) through long-term placements, supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons
* Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
* Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
* Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
* Inspire students' interest in Humanities subjects
* Work collaboratively with departmental and school staff
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Humanities in secondary schools
* Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
