We’re working with a leading UK real estate consultancy to appoint a Director of MEP Engineering—an opportunity to drive innovation, lead a growing national team, and influence the delivery of high-performance environments across the built environment.
This is a senior leadership role for a chartered engineer with a passion for technical excellence, sustainability, and integrated design. With a collaborative culture and a strong national presence, the firm delivers MEP solutions across commercial, industrial, residential, and specialist sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and grow a multidisciplinary MEP team delivering mechanical, electrical, and public health engineering services
* Oversee design and technical delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects
* Champion innovation in energy efficiency, net zero strategies, and digital engineering
* Collaborate with project managers, surveyors, and sustainability consultants to deliver coordinated, client-focused solutions
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, supporting business development and strategic growth
* Ensure compliance, quality assurance, and technical excellence across all engineering outputs
Candidate Profile:
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a background in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering
* Proven leadership experience within a consultancy or multidisciplinary environment
* Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, building performance, and compliance standards
* Commercially astute with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Passionate about sustainability, innovation, and delivering value through engineering
