<div><h3>Community Fundraising Officer (14 hours per week)</h3><p><b>Application Deadline:</b> 19 June 2026</p><p><b>Department:</b> Mass Public Fundraising</p><p><b>Employment Type:</b> Permanent - Part Time</p><p><b>Location:</b> Harefield</p><p><b>Compensation:</b>£11,892 per year (full time equivalent £29,732 per year) + benefits</p><h3>Description</h3><p>Are you an enthusiastic fundraiser who is looking for a rewarding role where you interact with generous supporters? Were looking for a Community Fundraising Officer, based at our rehoming centre in Harefield, West London, to promote the work of Dogs Trust to key audience groups and deliver excellent customer care for all Dogs Trust supporters, but particularly potential and existing legacy pledgers.</p><h3>What does this role do?</h3><ul><li>Link the rehoming centre with supporters in the local community, developing relationships with local individuals, businesses, community groups and clubs</li><li>Feed into various income streams through these relationships, identifying prospects in the community and develop a pipeline of future donors and legacy donations</li><li>Steward existing and potential donors, always providing them with a seamless supporter journey, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the work we do and feel motivated to support our meaningful local work</li><li>Organise supporter events, talks and tours both onsite and externally</li><li>Complete all administration related to donations to the centre, including thanking and banking</li></ul><p>Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for week commencing 6th July 2026, and will take place at our rehoming centre in Harefield.</p><h3>Could this be you?</h3><p>To be successful in this role, you’ll need some community fundraising experience, with the ability to build connections and connect with the local community. You’ll need excellent communication skills and be confident to approach and interact with supporters. You’ll be a key part of the rehoming centre team but will also work independently; strong organisational skills and a proactive approach are essential.</p><p>This role is based at the rehoming centre and will spend lots of time in the community meeting supporters. The working pattern is typically Monday and Tuesday, but flexibility is required and may involve some evening and weekend work depending on the nature of the work.</p></div>
