We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Shift Engineer to join our team on a long-standing, secure contract with ISS, in place since 2007.
Job Description
You’ll work a continental shift pattern, delivering electrical and mechanical maintenance, repairs and installations within a critical environment.
As Shift Engineer, you'll work in a relaxed and supportive workplace with plenty of overtime available if you want it.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical PPM, reactive and proactive tasks within agreed timeframes to meet customer expectations
* Perform maintenance and repairs on critical systems and assets within engineering environments
* Oversee and monitor contractor activity to ensure quality and compliance with standards
* Ensure equipment performance meets specified criteria and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the surrounding areas
* Represent the company professionally, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely completion of all administrative tasks
* Liaise proactively with clients, addressing concerns and escalating where necessary to support service delivery
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* Proven experience in Facilities Management, ideally within a critical engineering environment
* Confident in completing both PPM and reactive maintenance tasks independently
* Fully qualified in Electrical Installations – 18th Edition (minimum 17th Edition)
* Ideally holds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and fault finding
* Comfortable working alone on shift and taking ownership of tasks
* Familiar with health & safety standards and compliance requirements
