We are seeking an enthusiastic Support Team Assistant to join our busy CT team at RDH.
You will support the service by transporting patients between the Emergency Department, wards, and the CT department. The role requires demonstrating compassion towards patients, being a good team player, and possessing excellent communication skills. You will work under the supervision of Radiographers, following Trust Policies and Procedures.
The position involves participating in a 7-day rota with various shifts. The STA will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical, nursing, and Allied Health Professionals, in diagnostic imaging.
Responsibilities include:
1. Maintaining patient flow to and from the CT area.
2. Working effectively as part of a team.
3. Completing all clinical and other relevant records accurately.
4. Following policies and protocols, ensuring tidiness and efficiency in work areas, and assisting other departments as needed.
5. Supporting patient care and comfort, respecting their privacy, dignity, and cultural beliefs.
